But why doesn’t anyone ever answer the phone??! 207-213-4853

It’s as simple as this. This is basically a one-woman show with friends who come in to teach sometimes. Creative businesses like this one don’t always have the resources to hire someone to answer the phone. Since I am primarily working in clay or teaching, stopping to get the phone whenever it rings is disruptive to creative work. Also- SO many robo-calls!

 ‘Finding the studio has been so wonderful. It especially helped me this winter as I was moving through several transitions and a challenging couple of months. It helped me get creative again, let go a little, and get out into the community. Thanks for creating such a wonderful space.”   

Receiving notes like this one is what keeps me going. Understanding that we ALL need creative time and space in our busy lives has driven me to build something that not only works for my life, but for other’s lives as well. It’s a tricky balance, but I am trying to live authentically to what I teach. Let go. Enjoy the process. Let yourself be terrible and keep trying. Also give yourself some time to breathe. We all need that. That’s why we have such odd hours and make such a strange assortment of work.
